Around Lake Formarin
Short, crisp round around Lake Formarin!
Starting from the bus stop, follow the path slightly downhill until you reach the Formarinsee and bypass northwest until you reach the Freiburger Hütte. Here you can get some refreshments and after a relaxed rest you can walk back to the bus stop on the same footpath above the eastern shore.
Directions
From the bus stop, take the slightly sloping path to Formarinsee and follow it northwest to Freiburger Hüttte (1,918 m). After a stop, either take the same path back over the footpath above the eastern shore in a slightly descending direction back to the bus stop. (Attention this way is only recommended for experienced people who are free of dizziness.)

Refreshment stop: Freiburgerhütte
Worth seeing: Capricorn Monument - was erected for the successful resettlement of wild boar. Today, this area is home to the largest Capricorn colony in Europe.

Public transport
Take the train to Langen am Arlberg or St. Anton am Arlberg station. From there, buses (no. 750+760) leave for Lech Zürs am Arlberg at regular intervals.
