On crystal clear paths

__NO_NAME__
Thematic trail

On this hike you discover the source of the Lech spring water, which is also fondly referred to as ”Chateau Madloch” or ”Schwarzbach Riesling”.

The family-friendly hike starts at the starting point at the Rüfiplatz from where you walk along the signposted Lechuferweg to Zug. Alternatively, you can also take the local bus to Zug. Pass the fishpond in Zug and go upriver on the left bank of the river Lech. When you reach the barbecue site, you can cross the river Lech over a bridge, then you come across the saw. Another level 100m into the valley you will find the source of the Schwarzbach. Back at the barbecue site you follow the river slightly uphill until you reach the restaurant Älpele.
