Göppinger hut
This slightly longer and difficult hike should be started early in the morning and only in good weather conditions.
From the Wanderstarplatz Rüfiplatz, take the bus in the direction of Zug. From Zug, take an asphalted toll road to the Gasthaus Älpele. A branching forest path leads steeply uphill to the Upper Elm. From here the path becomes narrower and steeper and leads in serpentines up to Laubegg. Over the ridge we continue uphill to the Göppinger hut for a culinary stop.
Directions
From the hiking starting point Rüfiplatz, the hiking bus (toll) runs in the direction of Lake Formarin. Get off at the tollbooth. Follow the asphalted road southwest until you can see the Älpele inn on the right after about 2.8 km. Behind the inn, a path leads away. The wide forest path ends after about 1 km, at the Obere Älpele. From the Upper Älpele there is a short passage where it goes uphill a little steeper. After about one hour you reach the Göppinger hut (2245m).

Special features: A wildly romantic alpine path through a very beautiful landscape.
Sights: Climbing park Göppinger hut – just behind the hut there is a natural climbing park for sports climbers with around 10 different routes.
Refreshment stops: Gasthaus Älpele, Göppinger Hütte and restaurants in Zug and Lech am Arlberg.

Public transport
By train to Langen am Arlberg station or St. Anton am Arlberg. From there, buses (No.750+760) run regularly to Lech Zürs am Arlberg.
